Dave Douglass provides advice in both litigation and business consulting matters requiring specialized financial and economic expertise. He has more than twelve years of experience that includes analysis of damages in securities litigation, valuation of intellectual property in trademark and patent disputes, loss causation analysis, solvency analysis, and general economic and financial analysis. His business consulting experience includes new business venture valuation and market analysis, private equity due diligence, and business strategy. He has testified on issues including damage and solvency analysis, loss causation, and business valuation.
Mr. Douglass is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas and Florida, and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of CPAs. In addition, he is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
