Chris Ventry has held management positions and has led advisory projects for leading retail and digital media companies. He is a recognized leader in the digital and retail space, with a focus on off-price, specialty, and luxury brands. He has acted as interim/bridge leadership for clients and has led strategic planning, due diligence, market-sizing, and operational improvement projects.
Before joining BRG, Mr. Ventry worked at three leading advisory firms. He held executive leadership roles including general manager, president, head of Strategic Projects, and head of Business Operations.
Mr. Ventry began his professional career in the financial services industry at HSBC Holdings plc as a global graduate trainee. As part of this program, he was rotated to positions in England, Russia, Australia, and Hong Kong, before joining the Global Emerging Markets desk as a fund manager to oversee the firm’s Latin American equity investments.
