Chad McManamy, J.D., CIPP/US & E, is a member of BRG’s eDiscovery and Technology Services practices and specializes in electronic discovery, data privacy, and information governance. Before joining BRG, he was vice president of eDiscovery and assistant general counsel for Guidance Software, where he was responsible for providing subject-matter expertise to Fortune 500 legal departments, including best practices education and professional services engagements. He speaks regularly on eDiscovery and data privacy trends and has participated in eDiscovery industry forums.

Mr. McManamy was previously in private practice, where he focused on state and federal antitrust class action cases, including managing all aspects of discovery including vendor negotiations and implementation of document review. He was also responsible for designing and implementing the document review protocol in Judicial Council Coordinated Proceedings and Multidistrict Litigation cases and strategizing with economic experts in damage analysis and class certification issues.
