Timothy Mangione is an associate director in BRG’s Healthcare Performance Improvement practice.
He has experience selling and delivering customized solutions for healthcare and business clients, nationally and internationally, through a wide range of management consulting services. With more than thirty years of experience in healthcare, Mr. Mangione has held positions in supply chain and shared services management, group purchasing contracting, healthcare sales, and consulting services.
Mr. Mangione has extensive experience working with healthcare clients across services including strategic advisement, operations and process improvement, supply chain management, non-labor cost reduction, shared services, project management, expert advisory, and technology optimization. He has collaborated as part of the executive leadership of regional health systems delivering standardization of services and integration of supply chain operations, through the deployment and management of regional purchasing cooperatives, value analysis processes, and multifunctional shared services.
Before joining BRG, Mr. Mangione held leadership positions with strategy operations and non-labor performance improvement practices of several global professional services consulting firms; held sales, contracting, and member services positions with national group purchasing organizations; and served in various supply chain operations roles. His clients have included integrated health systems, community hospitals, freestanding cancer centers, ambulatory care centers, group purchasing organizations, healthcare products manufacturers, biotech firms, and other health providers and services organizations.
Mr. Mangione is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM), including local chapters. He holds certification as a Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) and is active with advancing the supply chain management profession through education and advocacy.
Before joining BRG, Mr. Mangione held leadership positions with the strategy operations and non-labor performance improvement practices of several global professional services consulting firms; and held sales, contracting, and member services positions with national group purchasing organizations. He also has experience in various supply chain operations roles.
