Steven Benov has served the healthcare industry for over thirty years as a healthcare investment banker.

He has managed over $6 billion in tax-exempt and taxable financings for healthcare providers ranging from non-rated community hospitals to AA-rated healthcare systems and academic medical centers. Debt and related instruments have included bonds, private placements, bank loans, interest rate swaps, and other derivatives. Throughout his career, he has served as both a financial advisor and an underwriter.

As the hospital industry continues to consolidate, Mr. Benov advises many clients on how merger and affiliation strategies affect these providers’ current and future access to capital. He has also evaluated alternative sources of capital.
