Stephen Bucci has more than twenty years of experience providing corporate investigations, forensic accounting, white-collar defense, and accounting/auditing services to organizations and their counsel involved in a variety of business issues and disputes.

Mr. Bucci is a director in the Los Angeles office of Berkeley Research Group, LLC. His areas of specialization include books and records analyses and investigations; fraud investigations; the application of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS); and compliance issues, including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting matters. In addition to his investigations experience, Mr. Bucci has led significant aspects of public company financial statement restatements, performed compliance program assessments, and provided expert testimony, as well as expert witness support on accounting and fraud issues.

As an auditor, Mr. Bucci’s experience included audit planning, workpaper preparation and review for all audit areas, the review of financial statements and disclosures, and the presentation of audit results to the audit committee or other interested parties. As a consultant, he provides services to attorneys engaged in high-stakes investigations and white-collar civil and criminal cases.
