Mark Davies, part of BRG’s Latin America practice, is an expert project controls manager with significant experience in project management, construction management, and project controls (contracts, claims and disputes, scheduling, and cost).

He has been part of senior management teams on a number of international projects in Europe, South Africa, and South America. He was previously a senior managing director in a global business advisory firm’s Forensic and Litigation practice, where he was head of the firm’s Miami office and led the Construction Solutions group in Latin America.

Mr. Davies’ construction and project management skills include: establishment and setup of sites, including all general site layouts; construction services; safety; environmental; industrial relations; security; human resources; community and client relations; document control; planning and costs; estimating; scope change control; management systems setup, training and support (Primavera, Expedition, Meridian, etc.); risk management systems support; monthly, weekly, and other reports to clients and corporate, etc.; project controls plans and procedures setup and implementation; interim project management; and translation services.

Mr. Davies’ forensic and dispute resolution skills include review of critical path method (CPM) schedules and cost reports for existing projects in dispute; preparation of as-built schedules; analyzing costs; preparing detailed extension of time and cost claims, using CPM delay/impact analysis; developing and writing expert reports; creating computerized graphics for use as exhibits or presentations; and appearing at depositions, meditations, arbitrations, or trial.
