Kristabel Betteley is an associate director with a strong record of service delivery on large infrastructure projects.
She has a broad range of experience in contract services, including claims analysis, contract risk, contract drafting, high-value arbitration and schedule and delay analysis. She has undertaken contract manager roles for projects across the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
Ms. Betteley has achieved Fellowship status with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a qualification which requires a high standard of practical application of international arbitration both within the region and globally.
Ms. Betteley is experienced in large construction projects and particularly infrastructure projects, having worked as part of a $7 billion contracts team. Her project role required interfacing with the principal contractor in relation to procurement and contract strategies, management of the prequalification process and the practical implementation of managing claims and dispute resolution throughout the project life cycle.
Ms. Betteley worked as the contracts manager for a global client and most recently led the contracts team for the construction of a $175 million sustainable waste-to-energy facility.
Prior to this, Ms. Betteley worked in a contracts expert role as part of the opening team for operational readiness and airport transfer (ORAT) for the new Abu Dhabi Airport, focusing on front-end contract procurement and negotiations.
