BRG Professionals Ranked Among Leading Experts for Arbitration

Ten experts from global strategic advisory and expert consulting firm Berkeley Research Group were highlighted in Who’s Who Legal’s 2018 Arbitration 2018: Expert Witness Analysis, which recognizes practitioners internationally for the quality of their testimony in arbitration proceedings.

BRG UK Chairman Richard Boulton was among the top three Thought Leaders for Europe. He is described as “‘extremely impressive’ and receives plaudits from widespread sources who describe him as ‘a top testifying expert.’”

In the United States, BRG Chairman and Principal Executive Officer David J. Teece, Boston-based Managing Director Bala G. Dharan and Denver-based Director Anamaria Popescu were recognized as leading arbitration experts.

Mustafa Hadi is “internationally recognised as one of the key figures in the Hong Kong arbitration space, particularly for shareholder and JV disputes. He combines exceptional technical proficiency in valuation and damages matters with an engaging and credible presence in oral testimony.”

Jonathan Humphrey, head of disputes and international arbitration in Australia and Southeast Asia, “is an esteemed expert in relation to the quantification of damages and lost profits and is active in arbitrations across a range of sectors and industries.”

Dubai-based Managing Director Michael Kenyon “draws high praise for his outstanding expertise in construction disputes and damage analysis, areas in which he is considered a leading expert witness.”

Three London-based managing directors were also highlighted: David Saunders, a valuations and damages expert, who has frequently provided oral testimony; London office leader Daniel Ryan, who “draws wide-ranging endorsements from sources who highlight his outstanding expertise in competition disputes and valuation matters”; and Heiko Ziehms, who is an “esteemed specialist in complex accounting matters and enjoys an excellent reputation for his work on related disputes.”
