BRG Co-Hosts Cyber Summit October 29 in Houston
Leading strategic advisory and expert consulting firm Berkeley Research Group will co-host a complimentary cyber summit with Tulane Energy Institute on October 29 in Houston. The summit, "Managing Cyber Risk" for Energy Executives, Directors, and Their Advisors, will address cyber-attacks and threats within the energy sector, and provide advice for executives, directors, and the legal counsel and consultants who advise them, in understanding their roles in dealing with cyber threats, implementing appropriate cyber security, and mitigating legal and regulatory risk.
The summit will feature keynote speakers Angela Haun, a special agent of the FBI, and Scott Prochazka, CEO of CenterPoint, along with three panels.
BRG Managing Director Gardner W. Walkup, Jr. will moderate the first panel, "What Are the Cyber Threats in Energy?" BRG Managing Director Norman L. Comstock, Jr. will lead the second panel, "How Can I Provide Cyber Risk Management Oversight?" BRG Managing Director Clifford Wright, Jr. will moderate the third panel, "How Can I Protect My Company through Good Corporate Governance?" BRG Managing Director Saul Solomon will provide opening and closing remarks.
