An Alternative Route to Risk-Aware Working
Roger Miles and Michael Champion
Roger Miles and Michael Champion write about cyber crime, behavioural insight, and dynamic risk-sensing.
Cyber, then, is evidently now the crime enterprise of choice. In the marketing jargon, it has great demographics, is pop-up ready, and has massively brand-extendable applications. All of which is because, in economic terms, it has great elasticity: this is an enterprise that can apply two of its core business processes (identity theft and extortion) to generate an enormous range of onward opportunities. Identity theft opens the doors to not only conventional theft of assets but also other enterprises such as blackmail and the reselling of access or other private information.
