Senior Mining and Metals Executive Joins Berkeley Research Group’s London and Singapore Offices

New senior hire a response to client demand for specialist industry expertise beyond general disputes and investigations arena and an uptick in mining disputes in APAC

Berkeley Research Group (BRG) today announces the appointment of senior mining and metals executive Andrew Webb as a managing director in the firm’s Asia–Pacific (APAC) Disputes and International Arbitration practice. He will be based in the firm’s London and Singapore offices.

Previously, Webb pursued a distinguished twenty-five-year career at a leading international investment bank, where he acted as trusted advisor to governments, private companies and joint ventures on strategy, fundraisings, debt financings, mergers, acquisitions, disposals and restructurings. He also has experience advising on disputes, including supporting senior colleagues with the preparation of reports and materials and providing expert valuation advice. Webb’s knowledge spans APAC, the Americas, Africa, Western and Eastern Europe and Eurasia. He has direct experience in over fifty countries.

Webb will work closely with BRG’s APAC Disputes and International Arbitration team to leverage his unique expertise which will be key to the resolution of complex disputes in the mining and metals sector.
