Raymond Kolls Appointed Vice Chair for AHLA Alternative Dispute Resolution Affinity Educational Programs
The
American Health Lawyers Association has appointed Raymond C. Kolls, a managing
director in Berkeley Research Group’s Washington, DC, office, as vice chair for Educational Programs for the AHLA’s
Alternative Dispute Resolution Affinity group. The group is
sponsored by the AHLA’s Health Care Liability and Litigation Practice group,
which addresses issues of potential legal liability that affect healthcare
providers, suppliers, and manufacturers, and keeps AHLA members apprised of
developments in the litigation and trial of healthcare disputes involving
hospitals, payers, integrated delivery systems, and individual physicians, as
well as manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and
diagnostics.
The
appointment will allow Mr. Kolls to engage with and offer opportunities to
healthcare lawyers, regulators, and other industry participants to prepare and
present high-quality professional educational events on matters of topical
interest.
At
BRG, Mr. Kolls works closely with the firm’s more than 200 healthcare experts
and practitioners, as well as leading law firms. He advises on matters
utilizing his background as former general counsel of two life sciences’
companies.
