National Healthcare Performance Improvement Experts Join BRG

Building on its strong healthcare capabilities, global expert services and consulting firm Berkeley Research Group, LLC welcomes two directors with deep experience in healthcare operations and solution delivery.

Joining BRG’s Health Analytics practice are Nelson Lowman, based in Baltimore, MD, and Paul Osborne, based in Tampa, FL. They have held senior leadership positions with some of the largest healthcare consulting and financial advisory firms in the United States and United Kingdom.

Mr. Lowman has extensive experience coordinating and implementing solutions targeting expense reduction and revenue improvement as part of comprehensive provider performance improvement engagements. In addition to consulting experience, he served as Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle operations at the University of Maryland Medical System and Director of Faculty Practice at Lifebridge Health in Baltimore. 

Mr. Osborne is a recognized national expert in healthcare performance improvement assisting financially distressed and financially stable hospitals improve their operating margins. He is experienced in advising and implementing performance improvement solutions to healthcare provider clients as they overcome complex financial challenges, and has successfully led some of the United States’ largest and most complex hospital performance improvement engagements over the past decade.
