Michael Stitcher comments on the impact to the healthcare market if Maryland loses its ability to regulate hospital rates. “There would clearly be some market consolidation, and we’d probably have fewer hospitals,” said Mr. Stitcher, who advises hospitals on financial policy. “I think it would be a pretty tumultuous road for several years.”
