Investigative Due Diligence Expert Kerry Ann Sullivan Joins BRG’s Transaction Advisory Practice
BRG announced today that Kerry Ann Sullivan has joined the firm’s Transaction Advisory practice as a director in New York. She specializes in deep-dive investigations for special acquisitions and IPO-enhanced due diligence matters.
With over 25 years of experience in business intelligence and due diligence, Sullivan focuses in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate research and background investigations. She has worked with clients in the private equity, venture capital, endowment, pension fund, hedge fund and investment banking industries, and with law firms. She has experience mitigating risk for corporations by coordinating deep-dive diligence into the backgrounds, track records and ongoing activities of board members and potential independent directors.
“Kerry Ann is a terrific addition to our team,” said Dan Galante, BRG’s Transaction Advisory practice leader. “Her expertise in investigations will be valuable to our clients, who look to us for client-centric, results-driven transaction advisory services.”
Before joining BRG, Sullivan spent almost six years with a large consulting firm in its advisory practice. As a skilled client-facing manager, she led teams to support risk-based investigations for M&A transactions for middle-market private equity and venture capital firms. She has worked with large sovereign wealth clients conducting due diligence on portfolio managers; and for law firm clients on asset-tracing investigations. Her experience also includes working alongside other practice leaders in a one-firm go-to market approach for clients.
Sullivan is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and 100 Women in Finance. In addition to her client work, she supports her community by leading fundraisers for groups like Neighbors Link and Drumlane Gaelic Football Club.
