BRG Strengthens London-Based Construction Practice
BRG has further expanded its Construction practice with the appointment of Seamus O’Doherty as a London-based director.
O’Doherty is a construction professional with more than 25 years of experience in commercial and project management, including work as a chartered quantity surveyor, chartered builder, and qualified adjudicator, arbitrator and accredited mediator. He has worked on projects in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, the United States, India, China and the Middle East.
O’Doherty’s experience includes advising on cost, procurement, contract and claims issues in wide-ranging construction and engineering projects spanning commercial, residential, industrial, power, process and infrastructure. He also brings additional expertise in dispute resolution matters and has provided expert advice and evidence.

O’Doherty joins BRG from a construction and property consultancy where he spent six years specialising in contract and claim analysis, and the assessment of quantum, delay and disruption. He provided quantum expertise in various dispute resolution procedures, including arbitration, litigation and adjudication both domestically and internationally.

O’Doherty is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
