BRG Continues International Healthcare Practice Expansion
Berkeley Research Group, LLC continues to expand its distinguished international Health Analytics practice with the appointments of Jeanette Cross, Kristen Geissler, Donna Kinzer, David McCann, Patrick Redmon, and Michael Stitcher in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Jeanette Cross joins BRG as a director in the Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Cross has 18 years of experience in the healthcare field, including auditing, financial analysis, reimbursement, Certificate of Need applications, and casemix analysis. Ms. Cross is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), and a Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
Donna Kinzer, also joining the Washington, D.C. office as a director, has over 30 years of experience developing, implementing, and analyzing healthcare payment systems. Ms. Kinzer is currently working on developing a roadmap for urban care delivery change and payment model innovation in an urban setting.
David McCann, director, joins BRG with 15 years of healthcare consulting experience specializing in provider reimbursement and compliance services. Mr. McCann’s areas of expertise include analyzing coded data and physician documentation to determine the impact on reimbursement and compliance. Mr. McCann is a Certified Coding Specialist.
Michael Stitcher also joins BRG as a Director with over 20 years of experience serving healthcare clients. Mr. Stitcher focuses on payment reform, changing clinical analytics requirements, and clinical integration among providers. Mr. Stitcher has extensive experience in the negotiation and facilitation of changing reimbursement methodologies between payers, providers, and regulators, resolving challenging coding and billing matters, and developing and implementing strategic performance improvement plans.
Joining BRG as a principal, Kristen Geissler has over 15 years experience in the healthcare field, both in direct patient care and administrative and consulting roles. Ms. Geissler has expertise in various quality-based reimbursement methodologies, as well as in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) and the role of coding and documentation in quality reporting.
Patrick Redmon, also joining BRG as a principal, is an expert in hospital rate regulation and payment methodology development using severity-based case mix systems. In addition to his role in the Health Analytics Practice at BRG, he is an Associate Professor in the Xavier University Program in Health Services Administration.
