BRG Continues Global Expansion – New Office Opens in Chicago

Berkeley Research Group, LLC, a preeminent expert services and data analytics firm, today announced the opening of a new office in Chicago, Illinois. The Chicago office will be located at 181 West Madison Street, bringing the firm’s total headcount to more than 200 employees working across 10 worldwide offices.

BRG’s Chicago office is led by Kevin O’Brien, a director and a leader in the firm’s Health Analytics practice. For over 23 years, Mr. O’Brien has provided accounting, financial, economic, and operational consulting services to service organizations involved in the healthcare, health insurance, and pharmaceuticals industries. He has an M.H.S.A., M.S. in systems management, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Forensic Financial Analyst, Certified Internal Control Auditor, and Accredited Valuation analyst.

Joining Mr. O’Brien in Chicago are:

• Cher Fieri, director, has over 16 years of experience in the healthcare industry and provides reimbursement, regulatory, economic, and operational advice to a variety of clients including hospitals and health systems, physician practices, durable medical equipment suppliers, payers, and pharmacy benefit management companies. Ms. Fieri has an M.H.S.A. and is a Certified Professional Coder.
• Stephen Willis, director, has more than 30 years of experience and specializes in intellectual property consulting, licensing, technology transfer-monetization, finance, pricing, valuation, dispute resolution, and the determination or evaluation of economic harm or damages. 
• Jonathan Flaum joins the Chicago office as a director and co-head of business development for the firm. Mr. Flaum uses his experience as a litigator to advise clients in identifying and selecting the right experts relevant to a particular matter.
