BRG Announced as Finalist for ACG New York Champion's Awards

ACG® New York and The M&A Advisor announced finalists in 31 different categories for the Third Annual ACG New York Champion’s Awards. Global expert services and consulting firm Berkeley Research Group was named a finalist for the Turnaround Deal of the Year and Energy Deal of the Year categories in the turnaround of Solyndra, LLC and 360 Degree Holdings, LLC.

The winners for eight categories including Turnaround Deal of the Year will be announced at the Champion’s Awards Gala on Thursday, June 20, at the Metropolitan Club.

“The Third Annual ACG New York Champion’s Awards finalists represent the best of M&A in the New York area in 2013, and Berkeley Research Group earned these honors by distinguishing themselves in a group of very impressive contestants,” said Roger Aguinaldo, CEO and founder of The M&A Advisor. “BRG, representing the best of the industry, has demonstrated creativity and perseverance in today’s challenging climate.”

Mr. Neilson also acted as an independent member of the board of directors that authorized and supervised the filing and plan for the American Suzuki Motor Corporation, another finalist in the Turnaround Deal of the Year category.
