The DC Circuit Finally Phones In

On March 16, 2018, the DC Circuit issued its long-awaited opinion addressing objections to the FCC’s July 10, 2015, Declaratory Ruling and Order, which had greatly expanded liability under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991. The DC Circuit sharply criticized parts of that Order and rolled back aspects of it.
