Anamaria Popescu, chairman of SCL North America, presented “The Best Defense Is a Good Offense: Keys to Effective Claims Management and Resolution – A Global Perspective” on November 4. Speakers included Aleisa Crepin (Baker McKenzie), Thomas Crist (Benesch), and Laina Chan (2 Selborne Chambers).

The SCL International Conference explored construction law as it relates to contracts, negligence, product liability, and dispute resolution through keynote and specialist presentations, along with two streams of plenary sessions over two days. BRG was a platinum sponsor of keynote speaker Sarah Grimmer, secretary general of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, on November 5.
