New Frontiers in Assessment Monitoring and Evaluation
Arlington, Virginia
October 19, 2018
A Department of Defense policy directive issued in 2017 established policy and assigned responsibilities for conducting assessment, monitoring, and evaluation (AM&E) in the area of security cooperation. The policy directive calls for collaborative evaluations across DoD components and with other US government agencies and international partners to facilitate mutual learning and reduce cost.
This event, cosponsored by BRG, included a keynote address by David A. Cate, director of Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The event also hosted discussion panels with AM&E experts from the US government and industry practitioners from the defense and development spheres.
