Evidence-Based Trade Policy

Jeffrey Klenk provided a guest lecture to graduate students at Georgetown University on “Evidence-Based Trade Policy: The Advocate’s Economic Toolkit.” He discussed types of evidence considered by the International Trade Commission in trade policy disputes.  He also reviewed evidence that he, as an expert economist, would present to the ITC and statistical methods available to economists when developing evidence. William Powers, chief economist of the ITC, also took part.
