Tim Kan has more than 15 years of experience advising client executives in driving change efforts within growth and competitive strategy, margin and performance improvement, mergers and acquisitions, and value-based care. Before joining BRG, he was the co-leader of a Provider Strategy practice and a managing director within a Strategic Transformation group practice.
Mr. Kan’s work with healthcare clients focuses on driving measurable improvement in market positioning, financial results, clinical quality, and community benefit through sustainable transformation. He is a published thought leader and frequent speaker on archetypes for success under value-based care and healthcare reform.
Mr. Kan has served diverse organizations across the health industry, including integrated delivery networks, hospital systems, faith-based providers, academic medical centers, physician practices, regional health insurers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, state governments, and industry associations. He also has experience in structuring and working within partnerships, having helped design effective horizontal mergers, high-performance networks, and payer / provider collaborations.
