Richard Davis has nearly two decades of experience working closely with C-level executives to unlock the value of the function, supporting finance leaders in their efforts to transform their employees from groups of individual contributors with great technical depth into high-performance teams focused on helping every function across the business drive a higher level of enterprise performance, particularly as it relates to the intersection of sales, operations, and finance, and how information technology is used to enable an organization.
Mr. Davis takes a “people-first” approach to finance-led transformation and technology enablement, which incorporates leading practice perspectives around human capital management, business process design and engineering, and utilization of ERP and other point-solution technologies. He believes that the closer a client’s finance teams can get to playing the independent and value-added arbiter between sales and delivery, the higher the likelihood the company has in optimizing working capital, driving customer profitability, managing vendor relationships, and driving transparent management and financial reporting.
Mr. Davis works closely with corporate clients across the retail, consumer products, and technology media and telecommunications industries. He has extensive experience working with public companies, private equity-backed companies, and sponsors, as well as within the investment banking community.
