Larry Tedesco has spent a large portion of his career developing, managing, valuing, and monetizing intellectual property as both an owner and operator. As an operator, he has held senior-level management positions with both private and public companies where he obtained extensive experience developing software and technology assets in addition to designing and implementing software and patent licensing programs. He has negotiated more than 75 patent and software license agreements and managed the retail licensing program to an industry-leading essential Ethernet patent portfolio.
As a consultant, Mr. Tedesco has provided multiple levels of damages evaluations for both plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property disputes. He has developed damages and lost-profit models, analyzed infringement contentions, calculated reasonable royalty rates, and served as the lead project manager in numerous IP litigation matters. He has significant experience evaluating licensing terms and the reasonable intent of parties in SEP licensing disputes, including the amount of compensation due for patented technology subject to FRAND agreements.
Additionally, Mr. Tedesco has a substantial amount of apparel manufacturing, distribution, and retail experience. He was an apparel merchandise manager for the Masters Golf Tournament, and he co-founded a private-label apparel company that currently provides apparel to retailers and many of the top golf courses in the world.
Mr. Tedesco is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP).
