Larry Rosenberg has skills and experience in intellectual property valuation, acquisition, monetization, and financing. He structured numerous investments in patent portfolios and patent monetization programs as a managing director at GE Capital and as president of U.S. Ethernet Innovations, LLC. He has negotiated the business terms of patent licenses and settlements of patent litigation. He has prepared expert analysis in litigation engagements related to patent infringement damages, trademark infringement damages, and misappropriation of trade secret matters. He was acknowledged as one of the world’s top 300 leading IP strategists by Intellectual Asset Management magazine.
Mr. Rosenberg has developed damages and lost-profit models, analyzed infringement contentions, calculated reasonable royalty rates, and served as an expert team member in international arbitration proceedings related to disputed amounts owed for a license to standard essential patents subject to FRAND obligations.
Early in his career, Mr. Rosenberg was a specialist in municipal finance and debt capital markets at Merrill Lynch and also worked in structured finance at GE Capital. He also held licenses for General Securities Representative (Series 7), General Securities Principal (Series 24), Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53), and Uniform Securities Representative (Series 63).
