Daniel Galante has more than 25 years of experience and has developed extensive transaction experience serving as an adviser to companies all over the world. He has been involved with more than 600 buy- or sell-side transactions for more than 60 different private equity investors, hedge funds, lenders, and strategic corporate acquirers.
Mr. Galante provides transaction-related diligence that typically includes a blend of commercial, financial, operational, and tax services combined to utilize the preacquisition insights for 100-day planning and post-acquisition value creation. He has advised on a number of transactions, including standalone platforms; carve-outs of business segments, product line, or facilities, including standalone and stranded cost structures with TSA requirements; bankruptcy auction processes; mergers; and industry consolidations.
Mr. Galante has advised on target companies ranging from startup to more than $3 billion in revenues in the following industries: consumer products; retail; manufacturing; distribution; construction, engineering, and design; transportation; gaming; specialty metals; healthcare; for-profit education; business services; transaction processing, marketing services; and financial services.
Before joining BRG, Mr. Galante was the national managing partner of Transaction Services for an international professional services firm; national practice leader of the Transaction Advisory Group for a major operations, performance improvement, and value creation firm; and Transaction partner at a Big Four firm.
