Mr. Cashman is experienced in developing and implementing reporting, controls, and best practices within finance organizations with multi-site operations around the world, including financial analysis, management reporting, cash forecasting, audit preparation, and coordination in both distressed and non-distressed situations. He is an expert at analyzing and implementing strategic and operational change, including refinement of business plans and redeployment of capital to address changing industry conditions, and stabilizing and fixing non-core operations through plant, product, and customer rationalization initiatives. He has experience across a range of industries including retail, manufacturing, medical device, chemical, distribution, software, and supply chain management.

Mr. Cashman has developed both weekly and monthly detailed cash-flow models and store models to assist management in determining optimum store footprints; and has provided liquidity and capital structure assessment, debt and equity restructuring advice, and identification of reorganization alternatives.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Cashman was a Senior Managing Director at the Corporate Finance/Restructuring practice of a global business advisory firm for 10 years. Before that, he served in various financial management roles at retailers, software companies, and a supply chain management company and had five years of public accounting experience at a Big Four firm.
