Bob Craig

Managing Director and Associate General Counsel

Bob Craig brings 40 years of legal experience to advise clients in identifying and selecting consulting and testifying experts for litigation. His background includes time spent in government service, private practice, and in-house, having served as an Air Force JAG officer, a law-firm partner, and for 27 years in-house for four major corporations where at each he held the position of chief litigation officer.

Mr. Craig's experience with complex litigation has put him in the middle of some of the most important cases affecting his industries. Professionally, his role as a leader in the Litigation Section of the ABA has exposed him to a broad range of issues that face the business world.

Mr. Craig’s in-house legal practice primarily involved advising companies and individual business leaders in all types of litigation forums. His experience dealing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and other regulatory investigations spans most of his career, and he understands and appreciates the need for competent and committed support when such investigations arise. While most of his career has been in Texas, because of his broad experience his clients are both national and international.

Mr. Craig brings strategic, tactical, and practical experience to his work. Specifically, he has an extensive background in all types of litigation matters, ranging from major securities cases and significant international arbitrations to industry-wide antitrust actions and critical intellectual property cases. He also has been retained personally as a court-designated independent in derivative litigation and is available for arbitration and mediation appointments.

Professionally, Mr. Craig held significant positions in leadership in the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association, serving as, co-director of the substantive law committees, co-chair of the Military Lawyers Committee and co-chair of the section's Committee on Corporate Counsel, where he is recognized as one of the chairs-emeritus and where he has concentrated his ABA work since 1994. He is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and both the Texas and Virginia (Associate) bar associations, as well as other local and practice-specific bar associations.
