Jose Jimenez-Pereira is an economist and associate director in BRG’s Disputes and International Arbitration practices, based in the firm’s London office.

He is specialised in high-profile international arbitration and litigation cases before UK, US, and EU courts. His work involves clients all over the world. He has experience in sectors including electricity, oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, transport, telecommunications, media and entertainment, retail, banking, microfinance, and forestry. His work includes the analysis of valuation, financial, microeconomic, and regulatory issues to estimate damages.

Prior to joining BRG, Mr. Jimenez-Pereira worked for seven years at an economic consulting firm. He also spent over two years working with environmental and development economics institutions overseas. He spent time in Costa Rica, Ghana, and Spain.

Mr. Jimenez-Pereira has a master’s degree in economics and finance from the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI).
