Mr. Funk is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Utah Chapter ACFE, and Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Funk has served as an expert witness, litigation consultant, and court-appointed agent in both federal and state courts. He has examined and opined on complex financial issues for both public and private entities. He has consulted on matters in a broad range of industries including biotechnology, construction, financial services, fitness/health, insurance, manufacturing, oil/gas, pharmaceutical, real estate, and telecommunications.
