Emily Johns has more than sixteen years of experience and specializes in transaction-related opinions and other valuation services for clients in the healthcare (providers and payors) industry.
Her extensive healthcare valuation experience includes mergers, acquisitions, disputes, purchase price allocations, management planning, and tax consulting and compliance.
Ms. Johns’ healthcare engagements have included the following businesses for both national and regional industry participants: hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers, cardiac catheter labs, pathology and clinical labs, and dialysis centers; and various contracts between hospitals, physicians, and payors, including medical director agreements, on-call agreements, purchase services agreements, and management services agreements. Other engagements have included asset impairment analyses, lease versus buy calculations, strategic corporate planning, benchmarking studies, and analyses related to litigation and expert witness testimony.
Before joining BRG, Ms. Johns worked in the Advisory practice of a Big Four firm for sixteen years, specializing in healthcare valuation and modeling.
