Edmond Lee

Associate Director

Edmond Lee is an economist based in BRG’s London office.

For over a decade, he has delivered consulting work and complex analysis across issues in competition economics, economic regulation and economic modelling, supporting clients on commercial, regulatory and policy issues in both the UK and internationally.

Mr. Lee applies economic theory and robust data analysis to assess the nature of competition in markets. In competition matters, he has particular experience in the assessment of theory of harm, quantum, pass-on and cost of capital. He is also experienced in preparing expert reports for submission to courts in both the UK and other common-law jurisdictions.

In economic regulation, Mr. Lee has undertaken extensive consulting work for both regulators and regulated companies to assess and communicate the costs and benefits of regulatory, strategic and policy options. His experience spans industries including water, electricity, telecommunications, post and transport.

Mr. Lee has also led projects that applied economic modelling techniques in a broad range of issues, such as infrastructure impact analyses, climate tax and policy modelling, and macroeconomic assessments.

Mr. Lee is a CFA charterholder and holds the CFA UK Certificate in Climate and Investing.
