Ambica Ruia is a litigation specialist with a focus on financial valuation and damages quantification.

She has worked on numerous expert reports regarding the quantum of damages in commercial litigation, international arbitration, and competition litigation cases. She has assisted in preparing expert reports for submission to arbitration tribunals (including the LCIA, ICSID, UNICTRAL, and HKIAC), the High Court of Justice in London, and competition authorities in the United Kingdom, India, and South Africa. She has also assisted in the preparation of expert testimonies presented to the LCIA, UNICTRAL, Competition Appeal Tribunal in the UK, and Competition Commission of India.

Prior to joining BRG, Ms. Ruia worked in the disputes and competition teams at an economics and finance consultancy, undertaking mostly valuation work.

Ms. Ruia holds a postgraduate degree in finance and economics from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in economics from Presidency College, India.
